Summer officially begins on Thursday at 3:50 pm. The Ozarks is already getting some sweltering temps and stifling humidity.  Now is the time to make sure your  outdoor animals are taken care of.

Never leave your furry friend in the car without the air conditioning turned on. Temps inside your vehicle can climb quickly, possibly up towards 200 degrees and higher! Heat exhaustion can hit fast and hard for dogs and pets.

Make sure your outdoor pets have a shady place to go to when temps start to soar.

Cool fresh water daily can help the pets on the hottest days.

When possible, bring your outdoor pets indoors, during the heat of the day.

Let’s protect those fur babies this summer!
